Smoke Alarm Awareness

The National Fire Protection Association recommends having a combination photoelectric/ionization

smoke alarm on every level in the home and in each bedroom.

Batteries should be replaced biannually. A good time to do this is when you

change your clocks for daylight savings time.

Smoke alarms must be kept clean! Occasionally vacuum the surface of the smoke

alarm to help keep it operational.

Smoke alarms older than 10 years should be replaced!
